By giving customers the option of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood, National offer products that are not only economically viable, but are environmentally responsible and socially beneficial. Likewise, they are exploring new ways to incorporate rapidly renewal resources, such as bamboo, cork and other plants with short growing cycles.

National casegoods include a recycled material content of at least 82 percent. A wide range of 100 percent recycled polyester choices are available for upholstered seating products while our packaging contains an average of 30 percent recycled content.

Our design-build and quickship options will ensure that you receive the work furnishings you want in a timely matter. 

In 1996, DarRan began takings steps to manufacture furniture safe for the enviroment. One of the most harmful aspects of furniture manufacturing can be the finishes used to cure the product. Many finishes contain formaldehyde, an off-gas which causes many harmful toxins to spread into the enviroment.  DarRan's concern turned to action when they switched from catelyzed lacquer finishes to Rel-Viron finishes.  The benefits of Rel-Viron include no off-gasing, low formaldehyde content, and BAC-Guard anti-microbial protection.
